Hello my name is Christopher H. McKinnon

I own a child care where my daughter Kirstyn J. McKinnon is the general manager of, in Brantford, Ontario, Canada. The hometown of hockey legend Wayne Gretzky! Running a high quality child care isn’t easy!

We are tasked with creating a warm nurturing environment to help children prepare for school and life, while we balance the books, prepare for compliance audits, make wholesome meals, ready for health inspections, constantly preparing administrative documents for regional authorities, all in maintaining a business with razor thin margins.

While virtually every other industry relies on business technology tools to help streamline, organize, communicate and show business strengths and weaknesses. In the child care industry, it appears that no one cares about using this technology.
I want to change that!

My background is in quality assurance management, where I worked for a large multi-national company with plants all over the world. We implemented an online web based QMS (Quality Management System) that helped us save millions of dollars. By having information at our fingertips and available data, we could now make quick decisions and improvements in nearly every area of the company.

I want to create a similar system for the child care industry, one App at a time!
